HOME COMMUNIONS If you require Holy Communion at home, please contact Fr Kentigern or Fr Bernard either by e-mail or leave a telephone message by 8.00pm on Friday evening stating whether you require a weekly visit or a one-off call. Someone will then be in contact to arrange a suitable day and time to visit.
AMPLEFORTH ABBEY The new Tea Room, Visitor Centre and Shop opened to the public on Friday 22 March. There are openings for work as a Volunteer. Full training and support are given. If you are interested, please speak to Fr Kentigern.

CATHOLIC PARISHES SUMMIT Thank you to all who gave up their time to participate in this amazing event, and for those who offered prayerful support. Those who were involved are invited to a Follow Up Supper at 7.00pm on Saturday 29 June. (FR K is cooking) There is still opportunity to contribute to the costs of our participation and of our hospitality.
INVITATIONS The 50th Annual Postgate Rally takes place on 7th July in Ugthorpe. Hymns are sung from 2:30pm. Mass, celebrated by Bishop Terry, begins at 3pm. To mark the Rally's Golden Jubilee, Cardinal Arthur Roche, Prefect of the Dicastery for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments is travelling from Rome and will preach. MIDDLESBROUGH FOOD BANK We are again very grateful to all who donated food, other goods, cash and cheques for us to take to Middlesbrough this week. Very few collections of this kind are taken to the depot now, so they are greatly appreciated! The volunteers were delighted to see all the goodies donated by children and parents from a special birthday party in the parish! A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL! NOW IT’S TIME FOR THE SUMMER HOLIDAY APPEAL, where we unite our efforts with those of Peter and Sue Allen at the other end of the valley.
