CAFOD BIG PILGRIMAGE
Do you enjoy getting outside? And are you looking for an opportunity to grow in faith? If so, we would love to invite you to join us for The Big Pilgrimage at Ampleforth Abbey on Saturday 22nd June. This is an exciting new event in which you will gain:
  • Space for prayer and reflection
  • A warm welcome with hospitality and refreshments
  • Activities for people of all ages reflecting our values of justice, hope and peace
  • A chance to meet fellow pilgrims and learn from each other
Our doors will be open from 12.00 – 5.00pm and, in addition to the above, participants will be able to choose whether to join one of our pilgrimage groups or design their own route. We will be offering:
  • A longer route of 5 – 6 miles lasting approximately 120 – 150 minutes. This option is perfect for experienced walkers or those who love a physical challenge.
  • A shorter circular route of 2 – 3 miles lasting 60 – 75 minutes. This is a perfect choice for those who prefer a gentler experience.
You can either join as a group or sign up as part of your own personal pilgrimage. For more information or to book on visit cafod.org.uk/thebigpilgrimage.
