WINTER WARM SPACES Ampleforth Warm Winter Spaces started again on November 22nd 12.00 – 3.00pm in Ampleforth Village Hall. Everyone is welcome to enjoy a simple meal, try your hand at knitting, join in a board game or just chat with friends over tea and cake. No pre- booking required, free entry. MIDDLESBROUGH FOOD BANK The final delivery of the Christmas Appeal which was made on Tues.12th December by Peter and Sue Allen with donations from Gilling, Stonegrave, Cawton and Oswaldkirk greatly boosted the total figures and that and a special appeal made at St Benedict’s Primary School which had chosen the MFB as their charity for the term resulted in a fantastic result! OVERALL TOTALS: FOOD-440.3kg CASH-£340 CHEQUES-£410 SO, A VERY BIG THANK YOU TO ALL, especially to the staff, the children and their families!
